Scholarships
Providence Cristo Rey High School annually awards full and partial scholarships and other forms of financial assistance.
Academic Excellence
These scholarships are available for incoming 9th, 10th and 11th graders who have GPAs (grade point averages) in elementary and middle school of 3.0 or above and have a strong desire for academic success but need financial aid. Applicants for these scholarships also will have shown the potential to succeed in a regular or accelerated classroom setting and a willingness to participate in work and community service opportunities.
Leadership Awards
Incoming 9th, 10th and 11th graders with a GPAs of 2.5 or above qualify for these scholarship awards. They also will have exhibited leadership skills with a minimum of 20 hours community service completed within the past year by working with projects/programs concentrating on local community needs with community organizations, churches, or youth groups. To document their service and leadership qualities, applicants have to submit at least two (2) letters from organizers in the projects/programs in which they participated.
Designated Scholarships
Providence Cristo Rey also has scholarships for motivated students who apply from a variety of designated elementary and middle schools.
