Parent Involvement

Providence Cristo Rey High School administrators, teachers and school staff believe that they partner with parents and guardians in the education of their students. Therefore, school officials encourage ongoing two-way communication between home and school via telephone, the Internet, and regularly scheduled meetings. For example, teachers call parents with both “good news” and “need to improve” reports about individual students. The school hosts quarterly progress report meetings and provides access to an on-line grade reporting site. The counseling department sponsors sessions on college readiness and financial aid information. It also assists families to access social services and other resources.

As the school continues to grow, parents and school officials will plan together for a parent-school association and for other activities and opportunities.
