Corporate Work Study

To cover about 75% of their yearly tuitions, Providence Cristo Rey High School students work an average of 5 days a month in an assigned corporate internship. All new students begin their work study placement with a training program. This year, that training begins in late July. At the end of the training, the students take part in a “job fair” in which they get to know the school’s corporate partners and the partners interview the students. After this event, the students get to select several possible sites and the corporate partners identify students who impressed them. Using this information, the Corporate Work Study Program Director makes a final decision on work study placement.
