About the Corporate Work Study Program

Students get education on the job
Providence Cristo Rey seeks full-time, entry-level clerical positions for its students.  Students perform tasks such as filing, copying, faxing, delivering interoffice mail, assembling information packets, data-entry, reception, and general "go for" duties.

Students job-share in teams to fill the hours of a normal business week. Students are employed by Providence Cristo Rey's work-study program. As such, the program handles the adminstration of their employment: payroll, workers' comp, FICA, etc. The main points of the program are outlined here.

It benefits your business
Not only is the Corporate Work Study Program good for the students, but it also makes good business sense. This chart provides a cost comparison of the cost of hiring a team of Providence Cristo Rey students with the average cost of hiring another employee in the same position (based on data specific to Indianapolis).

Students work in job-sharing teams to cover a full-time position.  Here is a typical schedule for a team of student workers.
