Because Providence Cristo Rey is a private Catholic secondary school, we must raise every penny we spend. Thus, we are seeking assistance from individuals and businesses who would like to partner with us in making a difference in the lives and futures of many young men and women in Indianapolis.
Within the coming year, our cost of operation will skyrocket as our enrollment doubles and we hire additional faculty and staff, buy additional textbooks, technology, and equipment, provide transportation for students to and from the worksite, and pay expenses for a much larger operation than this year. We will also continue to renovate the building.
Support our First Annual Benefit Dinner/Auction/Reverse Raffle On May 31, Providence Cristo Rey will hold its first annual Benefit Dinner/Auction/Reverse Raffle, hosted by St. Joseph Church. The event will be held at the Northside K of C and will begin at 6:30 with cocktails. Dinner, auction, and raffle will follow. Certainly, we would welcome your monetary donation. Unrestricted monetary gifts are our greatest need, for they will allow us to use the monies as they become available to pay for the expenses that are incurred with startup. Be a job sponsor
Do you own or manage a business or corporation in which students could be employed in an entry-level position? Are you uncertain about how the work study program might look at your company ? We are still in need of job sponsors for our students and would love to talk with you about the program in more detail in order to help you determine whether the program would be a good fit for you and your business. Provide opportunities for us to talk to parents and students
We are interested in telling as many people as possible about the school. If you work with middle school students and could provide an opportunity for us to talk to the students about Providence Cristo Rey, we'd love to know. Or perhaps you work at a business in the city, where there are entry-level employees whose sons or daughters may be eligible to attend Providence Cristo Rey. (A family of four could earn as much as $38,000 and be eligible to attend the school.) We would be pleased to come tell employees about this great educational alternative. Or maybe you are a member of Kiwanis, Sertoma, or some other charitable organization. If so, we would be very grateful to be able to speak to the group to enlist their assistance.
Volunteer your time
We need volunteers to help with tutoring. As we prepare to open, we want to use our building to assist students in the neighborhood who may need help with math or language arts. If you could help tutor after school, we could certainly use your services.

Already, several individuals and businesses have recognized ways in which they can be of assistance to us during this startup year. Perhaps you have a business that could provide equipment, materials, or services for our building renovation. Or maybe you have access to office equipment or classroom furniture.
